My "Mission Organization" up cycled tins were chosen as the Playing in Paradise #113 winner! Exciting to win and they ask you to guest design an upcoming challenge. How cool is that!
This was a bit of a challenge! It was a sketch for a scrapbook layout or a card. I am not a scrapbooker or a card maker but we all need to step out of our comfort zone once in awhile!
I chose to make a card. I had some leftover manila pieces that I had colored with Distress paint for Tim's April Tag (you can see mine here). Die cut the gears and added some of the Stampendous "aged bronze" embossing powder. Love these!
Thought this might make a good Congratulations card. New job or a move maybe??
Thank you Scrapbooker's Paradise for giving us all these terrific challenges.
Check it out here!
What a FABULOUS card! I think you can call yourself a cardmaker now! *smile* LOVE those cogs! It was great having you guest design with us this time around!
ReplyDeleteHi Karen! I'm checking out your blog post and it seems that you're already having some melt art fun with embossing powders! Don't you love them?! Your card is really cute. I love the dimension you've gotten with the embossed gears and the what looks like little wires coming from the bottom left gear. Nice design for your card. I also wanted to thank you for taking the time to stop by my blog and leave a comment. :) <3 Candy
